What We're Looking For
We are looking for a Senior Communications Manager to manage and develop a strong portfolio of leading cultural brands.
Your Mission - building strong cultural brands with influential communities
As a senior communications manager, you take full ownership of managing and building a portfolio of leading cultural brands. You act as a key strategic advisor and business driver. You understand which communities are relevant for your portfolio to shape long term and scalable partnerships to meet your clients’ challenges. You identify commercial opportunities and guide the client and internal teams towards impactful campaigns.
You oversee your portfolio, from reviews and briefings to planning and campaign implementation. You ensure strong internal alignment across creative, earned, owned and shared media experts. You lead your team with compassion and always, always with creative excellence in mind. Your role is essential in strengthening OONA/BAAS’s position as a long-term partner to our clients.
Your Responsibilities
Project and stakeholder management
You foster strong relations with various communities in popular culture (music, fashion, nightlife, sports…).
You set up culturally relevant communication plans together with the client.
You build authentic relations with #stakeholders at client side and within the agency.
You ensure everyone's aligned, you facilitate internal and external communication (clients, creators, media, platform partners…).
You take financial responsibility of your portfolio: from forecast to optimizing your P&L.
People and team management
You understand that building a performing team is the way forward to growth.
You coach your team on campaign, leadership and project management skills take it the next level.
You stimulate knowledge-sharing and cross-team work across the entire organization.
Campaign management
You build strategy plans with our proprietary community first methodology.
You understand how creator content works. You understand how the media landscape evolves. You put together a robust network of editors and creators across different media and channels.
You define campaign KPIs based on brand awareness, engagement, online reputation, retention, leads and conversion.
You analyze the performance of your campaigns. You map the successes and identify aspects that can be improved.

Proactive and ownership: you’re not afraid to take ownership. You’re self-steering, dependable, and know how to move things forward without constant oversight.
A strong project and people manager: you combine excellent organizational skills with the ability to lead teams and guide projects from concept to execution.
Experience: you have a minimum experience of eight years in a branded environment. You have good understanding of earned media and creator content.
Language: you have good communication and presentation skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
